On Friday November 2, 2012 at a private ceremony presided by Oakland County Circuit Judge Wendy Potts, I had the pleasure of sponsoring Sarah Thomas for admission to the State Bar of Michigan as an attorney at law. Sarah has worked for me as a law clerk for the last two years. To have the opportunity to teach and mentor her has been a very enjoyable and educational experience for me. Sarah has been one of my best and brightest law clerks to date (I have had over 20). There is no doubt in my mind that she is going to be a great attorney. I am honored to have her begin her career at the Law Office of Barton Morris.

Sarah graduated at the top of her class at Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills. She passed the July 2012, her first time, with only 55% of its applicants – the lowest Michigan bar passage rate in its history. Congratulations Sarah, now the real work begins.
